Introduction to AI in Azure

This course provides a fast-paced, one-day introduction to AI fundamentals and Microsoft Azure AI services. This course is designed to provide a solid understanding of common AI workloads, key concepts like generative AI and machine learning, and the Azure tools available to support them.
Students will gain practical experience working with Azure AI services for natural language processing, computer vision, speech, and information extraction, while also learning about responsible AI practices.
Course Objectives:
- Describe common AI workloads and use cases

- Explore generative AI concepts, language models, and prompt engineering basics

Prerequisites
Prerequisite certification is not required before taking this course. Successful Azure AI Fundamental students start with some basic awareness of computing and internet concepts, and an interest in using Azure AI services; specifically:
- Experience using computers and the internet
- Interest in AI workloads and applications
- A basic understanding of math (interpreting charts, simple probability)
- Familiarity with fundamental programming concepts (helpful but not required)
